Blur Focus

In this tutorial , you will learn to create a blur effect in the picture by using Photoshop.
1.You will need to use the gaussian blur for this effect.
2.First , select your sample picture, that i used horse picture to show this effect.
3.After this tutorial you know how to create a blur effect on the picture.

Blur Effect:

Step 1

Open an image, for which you are going to add this blur effect

Run Photoshop->Files->Open and select you image.

I used that above image for adding blur effect.

Step 2

Make a selection around the area you wish to add a blur focus to that image.

You can select the area with the help of Lasso Tool or Magnetic Lasso Tool from the Tool Box

You can see the toolbox from your left side of your Photoshop window.

 

Then you can either use polygon lasso tool or magnetic lasso tool to create a selection on that particular area.

Step 3

Inverse the selection of your image Right Click on that Image->Select Inverse from the second option from the list.The image should look like the below image.

Step 4

Select Filter menu from the above menu bar. Then select Blur effect ,from that choose gaussian blur .

Filter->Blur->Gaussian Blur.

Then add 4 to 5 pixel radius depends on the seize of your image.

Your Blur effect on the original Picture is done
